Pinocchios started out as a journal entry on February 17, 2021 & immediately took form of a song. Inspired by the Bible verse Romans 12:2, it’s about recognizing our conformity to the world & the negative things in it that we allow ourselves to be tied to & controlled by - much like a puppet. This song encouraged me to cut the strings & I hope it encourages others to do the same.
